Rockets' Eric Gordon on Clippers Fight: 'No Biggie'

EXCLUSIVE

Despite tempers flaring and a locker room standoff, Houston Rockets player Eric Gordon says the incident with the Clippers is simply, “No biggie.”

Yeah, right.

Gordon hit up Craig’s in West Hollywood after the heated battle with the Clippers in which several Rockets players — including Chris Paul — reportedly tried to fight Clips players in the tunnel and locker room area after the game.

Gordon told TMZ Sports he doesn’t expect any suspensions and really played the whole thing down as no big deal.

One of the Rockets players reportedly involved in storming the locker room was Gerald Green — who was also at dinner with Gordon after the game. He looked calmer, but still upset.

Nearby … Clippers star DeAndre Jordan hit Poppy alone — but he wasn’t his usual talkative self for obvious reasons.

As for the locker room incident, security was reportedly called in to break things up after several players — from CP3 to James Harden and Green — allegedly tried to fight Austin River following a chippy game.

NBA's Ben Gordon Catches Huge Break In Robbery Case

EXCLUSIVE

Ex-NBA star Ben Gordon can breathe a LITTLE easier … because he will NOT be charged with a felony stemming from his November robbery arrest in Los Angeles.

TMZ Sports broke the story … 34-year-old Gordon was accused of flashing a knife and roughing up a manager at his old apartment complex in an effort to get his 4-figure security deposit back. (FYI, Gordon reportedly made $84 mil during his NBA career).

Gordon fled from the scene and then returned AFTER cops had arrived — they arrested him on the spot. He was booked for felony robbery.

Now, we’ve learned the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the felony case — and kicked it over to the L.A. City Attorney to consider filing misdemeanor charges instead.

So, it’s a huge break for Gordon … but he’s not out of the woods yet.

Josh Gordon Gets Props From Ex-Teammate: He's Turning Things Around!!

EXCLUSIVE

One of Josh Gordon‘s ex-teammates says the troubled NFL star is on track for a HUGE comeback … telling TMZ Sports he knows the Browns receiver is as focused as ever on football.

We spoke with N.Y. Jets star Buster Skrine — he played with Gordon on the Browns — who says he’s pulling for his old friend to put his past behind him and ball out on the field.

“I asked him to come to New York (this summer), he was down in Florida training. He was like, ‘Man, I’m focused. Blase, blase,’ so I knew it was a complete turnaround for him,” Skrine says.

And get this — Skrine was out donating 250 turkeys and 200 pounds of veggies for Thanksgiving with his foundation when we ran into him.

Good work, Buster.

Jeff Gordon Praises Bubba Wallace, Black NASCAR Driver Is 'Important, Positive'

EXCLUSIVE

Jeff Gordon says Bubba Wallace isn’t just important to NASCAR for being the first Black full-time driver at the top level in 46 years … he’s also a LEGIT badass behind the wheel.

Wallace will drive the legendary No. 43 car for Richard Petty Motorsports next season — a tremendous honor … since that’s Petty’s car.

Gordon says it’s important to acknowledge the historical significance of having a black driver in the full-time circuit — but says the real focus should be on what he can do on the track.

Jeff also explains why he thinks there aren’t more black drivers in the sport — and how Wallace can help change that moving forward.

Oh, and don’t miss the part where our TMZ photog Charlie SAVES JEFF’S LIFE!!

Gordon Hayward Tears Up Remembering Mom's Reaction to Gruesome Injury

Breaking News

Gordon Hayward is reliving the night where his ankle snapped on the court … and says seeing his parents’ reaction — especially his mom’s — might’ve been the hardest part of the ordeal.

In an interview with “TODAY” … Gordon opened up about the game when his NBA career flashed before his eyes — and got emotional talking about the toll it took on his parents, who were in attendance.

“As a parent, you don’t want your child to go through that. And as a parent myself … I would rather take their pain … I wouldn’t want (my daughters) to go through that.”

“I remember seeing my mom, and she’s crying. It’s tough to see your parents cry too, ’cause it makes you emotional.”

On the plus side, the Celtics superstar says he’s doing a lot better now … and the support he’s gotten from his family has really helped the healing process.

Fun fact: Hayward’s interviewer, Matt Lauer, says the All-Star is already swishing half-court shots FROM A CHAIR. Ballllllllin’!
